Linda S. Stoler M.A., CCC-SLP ret.

My name is Linda S. Stoler, I have been an avant-garde speech-language pathologist for over 50 years. My innovative programs, which utilize a multi-modal methodology to support language and literacy success, are well documented and celebrated by educators and parents alike. Through my work with children with special needs and typical learners, I have earned a reputation as a devoted teacher and speech-language pathologist who emphasizes inclusion, individual creativity, and early language and literacy development.

As a prolific and published poet and songwriter, I created the LinguaSong series, which integrates music, manual motion (sign language), meditation, and movement. Today, I am delighted to share LinguaSong music and programs with children and adults around the world to support language and literacy development!

Will Stoler

My name is Will Stoler, I am an Army veteran, career cabinetmaker, architectural designer, project manager, and producer. I met Linda in 1985 and immediately recognized her passion, creative wisdom, and dedication as a speech-language pathologist and educator committed to helping children with special needs as well as typical learners.

As a dyslexic child who overcame severe learning disabilities, I understood firsthand how powerful, supportive, and transformative Linda’s songs and programs could be. Inspired by her vision, I gladly offered to help her bring her dreams to life.

Together, we secured a $100,000 grant from The Winter Fund of Stowe, Vermont, and combined it with significant sweat equity, donations, and personal savings to help bring this vital initiative to fruition. Thus began the Willinda Communications/LinguaSong project, dedicated to professionally composing, arranging, recording, and distributing Linda’s original songs to support sound development, language, and literacy success.

For over 40 years, I have been Linda’s husband, creative partner, and ardent cheerleader. Today, I serve as Executive Producer, working alongside our talented and passionate LinguaSong team to share Linda’s work with children and adults around the world!

Adam Lawrence

Hi, I'm Adam Lawrence. I've been working in art and media since the 1990s, earning my BFA from NYU Film School in 1997. For the past 15+ years, I've worked as a production sound mixer in Hollywood and am an Emmy Award winner, with extensive experience in the technical aspects of both sound and picture. I'm excited to bring that combination of technical and creative experience to LinguaSong and help develop a visual language that complements the original music and brings this incredible body of work into the 21st century.

Amy De Souza

Hi, I'm Amy! My background is in casting, matchmaking, and writing - work that has always centered around understanding people, recognizing potential, and connecting ideas with the right audience. I became involved with LinguaSong after seeing the potential to give Linda's incredible body of work a new life using today's creative technology. I'm excited to help reimagine this material in ways that can reach and engage both children and adults while staying true to what has made it special for so many years.

Peter Bruce Wilder

My name is Peter Bruce Wilder, I have a broad record of creative and technical achievement, including co-founding Advance Music in Burlington, Vermont; contributing technical and design expertise to several New England regional recording studios; and closely supporting the founding of KoSA Communications. My work has included Emmy Award-winning original soundtracks for Vermont Public Television, acclaimed sound reinforcement productions, and product and project development for well-known multinational corporations. For many years, I also led the Marketing and Media Production department for a regional financial services provider. More recently, I have focused on designing and managing high-end audiovisual communication systems for corporate, healthcare, government, houses of worship, K–12, and higher education environments.

In the early 1990s, I was inspired by Linda Stoler’s powerful lyrics and innovative programs for early childhood language and literacy. My confidence in Linda’s abilities and methods became deeply personal when my youngest son was four years old and struggling to communicate intelligibly. Linda generously offered to work with him, and in a remarkably short time, he achieved transformative improvements in his language and communication skills.

When Linda invited me to help compose, arrange, and record music for her extensive catalog of songs supporting early language and literacy, I eagerly accepted the opportunity to serve as Co-Producer for Willinda Communications, Inc., founded by Linda and her husband, Will Stoler. Thus began a rewarding journey that has helped thousands of children and adults through LinguaSong’s music and teaching programs.

I continue to support the LinguaSong project because I believe that Linda’s proven methods offer lasting benefits to everyone who experiences them. It remains a privilege to contribute my creative and technical expertise to sharing her work with audiences around the world.
